Happy Father’s Day!

Melody supervised Dad as he worked, and she encouraged frequent breaks for cuddles and consultation.

Cat dads are purrfect! They really are! Okay, so no humans are perfect. They aren’t feline, after all. But real men love animals, especially cats, and cat dads are extra special!

They are stewards of God’s most precious blessings. They save lives by adopting cats from shelters or rescuing cats off the streets. They take excellent care of those they have saved, providing us with love and affection, nutritious food, medical care, and a secure home. Cat dads know that God created every being with a purpose, and they value our lives as gifts from Him!

They view their cats as members of their family.  Cat dads are proud of their furry feline children. They communicate with us and let us help them with projects around the house. They make time to play with us, and they ensure we are healthy and safe. We aren’t “things” to our cat dads. We are family!

They build furniture for their fur kids!  From cat trees to cat walks, window seats to carpeted shelves, cat dads take pride in furnishing their home for their feline family. They also buy us toys and treats and bring cardboard boxes home for us to enjoy! Seeing their cats happy makes them happy, too!

They are excellent cat beds.  Cat naps are best when shared with a best feline friend, and a warm cat dad is one of the best friends a feline can have!

They don’t discriminate. Young, elderly, ill, frightened, and special needs cats are all welcomed and loved by cat dads. They won’t reject a cat who needs a forever home simply because that cat needs extra time and attention to heal or adapt or learn to trust, or because of age or coat color or a missing eye or limb. Outward appearances do not lessen the overwhelming love that fills the feline heart and aches for acceptance and adoption by a best human friend.

They never betray their fur family.  Cat dads fulfill their responsibility to care for us until death alone separates us. Abandoning us in a shelter or dumping us out of a vehicle onto the side of the road never even crosses their minds. They know you don’t “get rid of” members of your family. When they move to a new location, when they change jobs or form new relationships, when children are born or relatives pass away, cat dads stay true to their promise to love and protect us always until the end of our time.

They love their family!  A father’s love for his children is one of the most powerful forces on earth. Feline family members are extra blessed when a human cat dad adopts us into his loving forever home and into his heart.

My brothers and sisters and I are so very thankful for our human fur parents. We want our cat dad to know how much we love and appreciate him today and every day in our Extra~Ordinary World!

Happy Father’s Day, Dad!
With Love and Purrs!
